Nawel Arab – Exploring the Universe: the invisible revealed by mathematics
Nawel Arab is working on a PhD in signal processing at the Institut de Mathématiques d'Orsay at the École Normale Supérieure. Her work, at the intersection of mathematics and radio astronomy, aims to decipher signals from the universe.
Polina Perstneva – Modeling particle behavior in gaseous environments
Polina Perstneva is currently doing postdoctoral research at the Center for Applied Mathematics at École Polytechnique after defending her thesis at the Orsay Mathematics Institute. Her research focuses on the behavior of a large particle moving through a gas under specific physical conditions.
Bianca Marin Moreno – Guiding the energy transition with artificial intelligence
Bianca Marin Moreno is currently working on her PhD at Inria Grenoble after graduating from the École Polytechnique in France. Her research focuses on developing sequential learning algorithms, tools that exploit the flexibility of electricity demand.
